摘要: This paper proposes a general iterative demapping–decoding approach for two-way relay (TWR) communications with physical-layer network coding, where the node performs decode-and-forward. The bit-interleaved coded modulation (BICM) high-order quadrature amplitude is considered. decoding, namely BICM-ID TWR channels, introduced. Based on joint trellis, estimates end nodes’ bits, leading to an estimation of transmitted symbol pair probability, which crucial achieving decoding gains in bit error rate (BER). constellation design criterion proposed optimize performance over fading channel. EXtrinsic Information Transfer analysis also performed, showing system's convergence behavior and providing information code design. Our simulation results show scheme can achieve significant gains, yielding asymptotic tendency approaching cut-set BER limit.
