摘要: Several of the ZrMn/sub 2/-based systems 2/Mn/sub y/Fe/sub x/ have been investigated as materials for hydrogen storage. They appear to be excellent candidates. favorable capacity (higher volumetric than liquid hydrogen), kinetics, and pressure-composition characteristics. Also, hydride decomposition is only slightly endothermal (..delta..H ranges from approx. 15 22 kJ/(mol H/sub 2/)) so that little energy associated with lost during formation. This small heat flow problem occasioned by ..delta..H together other favorabele features make these interest practical
