摘要: Rwanda is well known for its mountain gorillas. First brought to international attention by the conservation efforts of Dian Fossey in 1960s and 70s, Rwanda's gorillas have featured numerous documentaries recent past been visited, example, Bill Gates, Natalie Portman Ted Turner, who all participated annual gorilla naming ceremony. Uganda are only two countries world where can be visited safely at moment. In 2008, about 17,000 people Volcanoes National Park (VNP) see gorillas, a large increase from late 1980s an impressive recovery 417 tourists 1999 after reopening park. has also seen tourism as valuable tool, enforcing strict rules habituation trekking families. Tourists willing pay high fees limited number permits, which usually sold out. The revenues provide funds national parks facilitate activities.
