摘要: This article presents the framework and explores measurement, correlates, outcomes of creative adaptability (CA), proposed here as cognitive-behavioral-emotional ability to respond creatively adaptively stressful situations. Data collection was in April 2020, during peak outbreak Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) Israel. In Study 1, a sample 310 adults completed newly developed CA scale, well spontaneity, openness experience, self-efficacy, well-being measurements. The results exploratory confirmatory factor analyses corroborated 9-item scale's theorized underlying construct. validity reliability were also supported. Exploratory suggested that association between mediated by self-efficacy may buffer impact individuals' concern about on their well-being. 2, short-term longitudinal data based 71 students predict lower psychological stress over time. Support for internal consistency obtained its test-retest established. Overall, shed light this new construct potential protective factor. Implications theory, research, practice are discussed.
