摘要: The purpose of the current thesis was twofold: 1) to review literature while linking prolonged effects excessive acute alcohol consumption (hangover) decrements in complex vigilance tasks and 2) determine if have an affect on driving a motor vehicle. Driving involves great requirements for attention, vigilance, control. It has been previously demonstrated that alcohol, body, or recently removed does cause attention span, judgment, psychomotor memory. However, there little consistency between testing; example, some researchers did not wait until participants’ blood concentration (BAC) 0.00 g% before conducting testing therefore, remaining bodies may affected results. In present study it indicated hangovers do effect vehicle, but with BAC above legal limit (0.08 g%) is significant decrement ability. conclusion, future research should examine more severe detrimental effect.
