摘要: In the practice of instant invention, a lubricating phosphate coating is applied to surface ferrous-base metal article by contacting with an aqueous acidic solution which contains amount hydroxylamine effective in increasing rate at deposits from solution. The resulting coated then subjected cold deformation. preferred embodiment, additionally contacted second compound after applied. addition phosphate, solutions employed preferably contain one or more following ions: zinc, manganese, nitrate, nickel, ferrous, ferric, copper, fluoride, mixtures thereof.
