Applications of solid-state NMR spectroscopy in environmental science

摘要: Environmental science is an interdisciplinary field, which integrates chemical, physical, and biological sciences to study environmental problems human impact on the environment. This article highlights use of solid-state NMR spectroscopy (SSNMR) in studies processes remediation with examples from both laboratory samples collected field. The contemporary topics presented include soil chemistry, (e.g., heavy metals radionuclides removal, carbon dioxide mineralization), phosphorus recovery. SSNMR a powerful technique, provides atomic-level information about speciation complex as well interactions between pollutants minerals/organic matter different interfaces. challenges application measurement paramagnetic nuclei low-gamma nuclei) are also discussed, perspectives provided for future research efforts.
