摘要: To study control and safety of accelerator driven nuclear systems, a one point kinetic model was developed programed. It deals with fast transients as function reactivity insertion. Doppler feedback, the intensity an external neutron source. The allows for simultaneous calculation equivalent critical reactor. validated by comparison benchmark specified Nuclear Energy Agency Committee Reactor Physics. Additional features are possibility inserting linear or quadratic time dependent ramp which may account gravity induced accidents like earthquakes, to shut down source exponential decay law form exp(‐t/τ). graphical display power changes. calculations revealed that such boosters behave quite benignly even if they only slightly subcritical.
