摘要: This work deals with the modeling of material flow in Friction Stir Welding (FSW) processes using particle tracing method. For computation trajectories, three accurate and computationally efficient integration methods are implemented within a FE model for FSW process: Backward Euler Sub-stepping (BES), 4-th order Runge–Kutta (RK4) Back Forth Error Compensation Correction (BFECC) methods. Firstly, their performance is compared by solving Zalesak’s disk benchmark. Later, developed methodology applied to some problems providing quantitative 2D 3D view transport process area. The pattern experimental evidence.
