摘要: Contrary to conventional wisdom that light bends away from the normal when it passes high low refractive index media, here we demonstrate an exotic phenomenon direction of electromagnetic power can bend toward is incident arbitrary medium (or air) a $ϵ$-near-zero (ENZ) metamaterial. Moreover, transmission close for all angles incidence. This anti-Snell's law refraction results interplay between ENZ and material loss. The loss increase at air-ENZ interface collimate beam inside medium. Furthermore, in ideal configuration, propagation anisotropic materials approach zero goes infinity.
