The impact of Eysenck's extraversion‐introversion personality dimension on prospective memory

摘要: Prospective memory (PM) is for future events. PM a developing area of research (e.g., Brandimonte, Einstein & McDaniel, 1996) with recent work linking personality types and their utilisation (Goschke Kuhl, 1996; Searleman, 1996). The present study compared 28 extraverts introverts on short- long-term prospective using the Memory Scale developed by Hannon, Adams, Harrington, Fries-Dias Gibson (1995). main finding was that reported significantly fewer errors than introverts, this difference could not be explained in terms number strategies used to support remembering. These findings are discussed relation differences between types.
