摘要: The effect of endurance training on glutathione (GSH) status and antioxidant enzyme system was investigated in skeletal muscle, heart, liver female Sprague-Dawley rats pair fed an isocaloric diet. Ten weeks treadmill (25 m/min, 10% grade for 2 h/day, 5 days/wk) increased citrate synthase activity the deep vastus lateralis (DVL) soleus muscles by 79 39%, respectively (P < 0.01), but not heart or liver. In DVL, GSH content 33% 0.05) with training, accompanied a 64% increase glutamate no change cysteine. Trained showed 62 27% higher peroxidase (GPX) superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, 0.05), DVL compared control rats. contrast, reductase (GR) declined whereas activities GPX SOD remained unchanged. Training did alter plasma significantly decreased GSH-to disulfide ratio heart. addition, GR sulfur-transferase were lower trained vs muscle had threefold gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase other tissues; however significant alteration observed gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase liver, muscle. These data indicate that can cause tissue- fiber-specific adaptation systems homeostasis extrahepatic tissues may be determined utilization uptake via cycle.
