摘要: Approximately 366 million people worldwide have been diagnosed with type-2 diabetes (T2D). Chronic insulin resistance, decreased functional β-cell mass, and elevated blood glucose are defining characteristics of T2D. Great advances made in understanding the pathogenesis T2D respect to effects dietary macronutrient composition energy intake on physiology homeostasis. It has further established that obesity is a leading pathogenic factor for developing resistance. However, resistance may not progress unless β-cells unable secret an adequate amount compensate sensitivity. Therefore, pancreatic dysfunction plays important role development overt diabetes. This paper reviews recent research findings several micronutrients (zinc, vitamin D, iron, A), leucine, phytochemical, genistein emphasis their secretion, specifically context
