摘要: Summary: A technique is described for estimating the po sition of intercommisural line (AC-PC line) directly from landmarks on positron emission tomographic (PET) images, namely ventral aspects anterior and posterior corpus callosum, thalamus, occipital pole. The relationship this estimate to true AC-PC line, fitted through centres poste rior commissures, showed minimal vertical angular displacement when measured magnetic resonance im aging (MRI) scans. Using regression analysis, ease reliability fitting these points was found be high. This derived valWith increasing spatial temporal resolu tion tomography tech niques, neurophysiologic al questions formulated in terms functional anatomy can answered with greater precision.
