摘要: Virtual cellular manufacturing (VCM) has been evolved to improve the setup efficiency of systems without hampering flexibility job shop systems. In a VCM, resources are grouped logically at production planning and control stage flow performance even for unpredictable product mix. this work, novel algorithm is proposed using discrete particle swarm optimisation (DPSO) technique design virtual cells considering processing time, operation sequence, routing flexibility, machine capacity, demand. A numerical example from literature used illustrate algorithm. Benchmark problems different size tested measures.
