摘要: Objective: To determine structural MRI and digital microscopic characteristics of REM sleep behavior disorder in individuals with low-, intermediate-, high-likelihood dementia Lewy bodies (DLB) at autopsy. Methods: Patients autopsy-confirmed DLB, according to the probability statement recommended by third report DLB Consortium, antemortem MRI, were identified (n = 75). The clinical history was assessed for presence 35) absence 40) probable (pRBD), patients9 MRIs compared using voxel-based morphometry. Pathologic burdens phospho-tau, β-amyloid, α-synuclein measured regions associated early neuropathologic involvement, hippocampus amygdala. Results: pRBD present 21 patients (60%) high-likelihood, 12 (34%) intermediate-likelihood, 2 (6%) low-likelihood DLB. younger, more likely be male ( p ≤ 0.001), had a frequent diagnosis diffuse (neocortical) body disease. In amygdala, phospho-tau β-amyloid burden lower those without 0.005) amygdala 0.02) greater these regions. Conclusion: Presence is higher likelihood less severe Alzheimer-related pathology medial temporal lobes, whereas characterized Alzheimer-like atrophy patterns on increased burden.
