摘要: The central nervous system consists of two cell classes, neurons and glia. Mechanosensitive channels are expressed on the plasma membrane both non-sensory glial cells. Different chemical stimuli, such as neurotransmitters, or poly-unsaturated fatty acids, stimuli associated with deformation, perfusion hypo-osmotic solutions local mechanical stress, influence activity these channels. Several mechanosensitive K+, TREK/TRAAK family, non-selective cation channels, transient receptor potential have been recently cloned, their expression in astroglia has demonstrated. main aim this article is to summarize available data mechanosensitivity types. Possible roles characterized MS brain development functioning discussed.
