摘要: Pavlovian fear conditioning has become the paradigm of choice to study mechanisms mammalian associative memory and those anxiety disorders that are characterized by persistent, unwanted memories. In this chapter, I first review what is known about neural network underlying simple forms conditioning, including an in-depth look at synaptic plasticity formation in amygdala throughout wider network. Next, more complex aspects learning, a discussion contextual extinction. Finally, briefly summarize fear-learning system human brain its relevance for understanding treating acquired fears.
