摘要: The solvation dynamics of ionic liquids have been the subject many experimental and theoretical studies but remain poorly understood. We analyze these by modeling time-resolved fluorescence response coumarin 153 in two room-temperature liquids: 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bromide bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide. Our results demonstrate that phenomena such as electrostatic screening operate significantly differently liquids, relative importance translational rovibrational components depends on character ions involved. However, collective motion dominates both qualitative features this behavior are strikingly similar cases.
