摘要: Abstract This paper describes the design and implementation of digital controllers for a flywheel energy storage device that incorporates radial flux hybrid permanent magnetic bearing. Although uncontrolled is asymptotically stable, active control required to: (i) ensure finite air gap maintained at all times, (ii) attenuate oscillations which reduce efficiency motor generator. The presents gain scheduled discrete time linear quadratic regulator (LQR) Gaussian (LQG) this rotordynamic system. Real experiments are conducted to investigate performance controllers. result indicates LQR controller with approximate system velocities easier implement than LQG controller, also provides superior performance.
