摘要: Abstract Raman and emission spectroscopy was used for the characterization of dysprosium–yttrium, holmium–yttrium, ytterbium–yttrium mixed oxides. The samples, which are potential emitter materials thermophotovoltaic generators, were prepared by combustion synthesis. Due to similar ionic radii trivalent rare earth cations employed, substitutional solid solutions formed. With changing yttrium content, continuous changes in band position linewidth occur oxides, analyzed selected vibrational modes. By this method, it is possible determine composition samples. In addition, holmium–yttrium A correlation between holmium concentration oxide matrix spectral features established. using confocal microscopy, local variations profiles, may be related chemical composition, investigated with micrometer resolution.
