Mechanical Relaxations in Single Crystals of Polyethylene

摘要: The dynamic mechanical properties of single crystals linear polyethylene have been measured at temperatures between −190° and 133°C. measurements were made with a free‐oscillation torsion pendulum nominal frequency 1 cps on mats which had annealed various up to Broad‐line NMR small‐angle x‐ray also samples undergone the same annealing treatment.The alpha gamma relaxations previously observed in melt‐crystallized found occur crystals. Some evidence was for two other relaxations, one occurring below temperature relaxation above that relaxation. These are not discussed detail.
