摘要: What is the role of electrochemistry in supramolecular chemistry? On one hand, it provides information on energy and kinetics that not available with spectroscopic mass spectrometric techniques; other, can be used to alter electronic states thus interactions between molecules, resulting new compounds materials. A typical cyclic voltammogram complex shown depicted right; only first three reductions are presented, although a total six electrons transferred bipyridine units sequentially (E V vs. ferrocene/ferrocenium).
