摘要: Two-dimensional arrays of circular jets air impinging on a heat transfer surface parallel to the jet orifice plate are considered. The air, after impingement, is constrained exit in single direction along channel formed by and plate. downstream subjected crossflow originating from upstream jets. Experimental theoretical results obtained for streamwise distributions velocities presented compared. Measured Nusselt numbers resolved one hole spacing correlated with individual spanwise row Reynolds crossflow-to-jet velocity ratios. Correlations both inline staggered patterns including effects geometric parameters: spacing, height, normalized diameter. physical mechanisms influencing coefficients as function flow distribution parameters also discussed.
