摘要: A review is given on aspects of indirect imaging techniques in X-ray binaries which are used as diagnostics tools for probing the dominated accretion disc physics. These utilize observed properties such emission line profile variability, time delays between simultaneous optical/X-ray light curves, curves eclipsing systems and pulsed from compact object order to reconstruct disc’s emissivity (Doppler tomography), irradiated heated secondary (echo mapping), outer structure (modified eclipse mapping) accreting regions onto object, respectively.
