摘要: A modular rearview mirror system includes a variable reflectance device having surface, which reflects light incident the surface from direction rearward of vehicle. The is responsive to drive signal by dimming partial condition. control for reflectivity value first and second sensors circuit. circuit produce as function levels are exposed. both aimed generally in rearwardly sensor along horizontal axis another that deviates axis. preferable deviation between axes at least approximately 10 degrees, but not more than 70 degrees. may be positioned behind within casing through and/or potion substrate thereof. preferably an electrochromic element also liquid crystal device, suspended particle or other known electro-optical device. automatic used exterior vehicle mirror, interior all three mirrors on particularly suited use automobiles, minivans, trucks, small vans, sport utility vehicles.
