摘要: We present 24 {mu}m and 70 images of a non-radiative shock in the Cygnus Loop supernova remnant, obtained with Multiband Imaging Photometer for Spitzer on board Space Telescope. The post-shock region is resolved these images. ratio to flux rises from about 14 at distance 0.'1 behind front 22 zone 0.'75 further downstream, as grains are destroyed hot plasma. Models dust emission destruction using electron temperatures between 0.15 keV 0.30 densities, n{sub H}{approx} 2.0 cm{sup -3}, predict ratios that match observations. Non-thermal sputtering (i.e., due bulk motion relative gas) contributes significantly under conditions. From model calculations, we infer 35% by mass over 0.14 pc front.
