摘要: Secretion, endocytosis and transport to the lytic compartment are fundamental, highly coordinated features of eukaryotic cell. These intracellular processes facilitated by vesicles, many which small (100 nm or less in diameter) ‘coated’ on their cytoplasmic surface. Research into structure coat proteins how they interact with components vesicle membrane ensure selective packaging cargo molecules correct targeting, has been quite extensive mammalian yeast cell biology. By contrast, our knowledge corresponding types vesicles plant cells is limited. Nevertheless, available data indicate that a considerable homology between non-plant polypeptides exists, it also suggestive certain similarity mechanisms underlying targeting all eukaryotes. In this article we shall concentrate three major vesicles: clathrin-coated COP-coated ‘dense’ latter responsible for vacuolar storage maturing legume cotyledons. For each will summarize current literature animal cells, then present relevant derived from work cells. addition, briefly review evidence support ‘SNARE’ hypothesis, explains find fuse target membrane.
