摘要: A 23-year-old woman presented with recurrent herpetiform vesicles of the lower lip, but all diagnostic measures for herpes virus infection including viridae specific PCR were negative. Medical history revealed that she also had chronic vulvovaginal candidiasis, which been treated various regimes, repetitive applications fluconazole. Consequently, fluconazole-induced fixed drug eruption was suspected, skin tests performed fluconazole remained with-out response. Consecutive repeated oral provocation carried out and resulted in development burning lip. Histopathology a subepidermal superficial perivascular infiltrate, basal vacuolated apoptotic keratinocytes, intra-epidermal lymphocytes multilocular vesicles. Together clinical picture, mimicking labial simplex diagnosed. Oral an alternative systemic antifungal treatment, itraconazole, well tolerated, therapy itraconazole initiated, no further developed.
