摘要: Abstract A hyperphosphorylated form of the largest subunit RNA polymerase II (pol IIo) is associated with pre-mRNA splicing process. Pol IIo was detected in association a subset small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particle and Ser-Arg protein factors also complexes assembled vitro. A subpopulation pol localized to "speckle" domains enriched factors, indicating that it may be processing vivo. Moreover, retained similar pattern following situ extraction cells quantitatively recovered matrix fraction. The results implicate matrix-associated as possible link coordination transcription processes.
