摘要: Abstract High quality PbFe12O19 single crystals were grown by a solution-melt crystallization technique and characterized synchrotron radiation diffraction structural studies, Mossbauer, Raman infrared spectral measurements. In the terahertz sub-terahertz range two absorption bands are observed, which associated with dynamics of structurally disordered lead iron ions. We develop model that comprises Fe2+ ions at (1/2 × 4e) (0, 0, z) position bipyramidal oxygen environment, Pb (24l) (x, y, generic strongly distorted 12 vertex polyhedron oxygen. The atomic displacement ellipsoids surrounding ion stretched towards within plane perpendicular to hexagonal axis. suggested is in full agreement local symmetry Fe2 chemical composition sample determined X-ray analysis.
