摘要: Serine-arginine protein kinases (SRPKs) are a group of serine that recognize and phosphorylate substrates with serine-arginine dipeptide repeats. They mainly involved in regulating pre-mRNA splicing via phosphorylating factors, such as ASF/SF2 SC35. Nevertheless, the functions SRPKs nervous system sketchy, although have significant expression neurons. Our recent studies demonstrate one SRPK members, SRPK2, participates neuronal survival, cell cycle progression, memory determination Alzheimer's disease. thus unrecognized proteins may facilitate pathological progression disorders caused by neurodegeneration. In this review, we will update our knowledge on SRPKs' various cellular activities discuss their potential role neurodegenerative disorders.
