摘要: The evaluation of a hazardous waste disposal site is complicated process because it requires data from diverse social and environmental fields. These often involve processing significant amount spatial information which can be used by GIS as an important tool for land use suitability analysis. This paper presents multi-criteria decision analysis alongside with geospatial the selection landfill sites in Kurdistan Province, western Iran. study employs two-stage to provide support system management typically under developed region. purpose was perform initial screening eliminate unsuitable followed utilization (MCDA) identify most suitable using provided regional experts reference new chosen criteria. Using 21 exclusionary criteria, input layers, masked maps were prepared. Creating various intermediate or map layers final overlay obtained representing areas sites. In order evaluate different produced overlaying index cumulative effects relative importance (weights) values 14 non-exclusionary criteria including several resulting field observation. this 15 visited based on numerical MCDA determined.
