摘要: The impact parameter dependence of inner-shell excitations in single heavy ion-atom collisions can be determined from the final charge state scattered ion as a function scattering angle and collision energy. In our work, states for 0.15 MeV to 1.5 Ne+ ion-projectiles through angles 1–20° by Ar atoms have been measured. Similar measurements Ar+-Ar system 0.5 1.0 MeV, Ar++-Ar at 3.0 were made. When average state, m, ions is plotted product Eoθ incident ion-energy these systems, m observed increase one or two units specific values Eoθ. Because closely related Ro, distance closest approach collision, increases are indicative vacancies being produced molecular orbital interaction.
