Measurement of Ionization and Attachment Coefficients in C3F8

摘要: The growth of pre-breakdown currents in uniform field conditions C3F8 at various pressures, for values E/p the range 90-300 V cm-1 mmHg-1 indicates large electron attachment processes. Assuming that relevant mechanism negative ion formation is dissociative attachment, ionization and coefficients (α η) have been calculated from semi-logarithmic plots current against electrode separation employing modified Townsend equation a process curve fitting. Static breakdown potentials also measured up to value pd = 400 mmHg cm.
