摘要: Abstract Biomass is often assigned a central role in future energy system scenarios as carbon sink, making negative greenhouse gas emissions possible through capture and storage of biogenic dioxide from biomass-fuelled power plants. However, biomass could also serve strategic complement to variable renewables by supplying electricity during hours high residual load. In this work, we investigate the systems with net zero or different levels availability. We show that access corresponding ca. 20% demand primary terms, value system. for flexibility purposes can be cost-efficient support reach neutral main share wind solar power.
