摘要: The effect of CO2 partial pressure on the corrosion inhibition efficiency gum arabic (GA) N80 carbon steel pipeline in a CO2-water saline environment was studied by using gravimetric and electrochemical measurements at different pressures (e.g., PCO2 = 1, 20 40 bar) temperatures 25 60 °C). results showed that inhibitor increased with an increase concentration pressure. found to be 84.53% 75.41% after 24 168 h immersion bar, respectively. surface further evaluated scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXRD), photoelectron (XPS) measurements. SEM-EDS GIXRD reveal metal strongly affected presence In GA, protective layer becomes more compact increasing XPS provided direct evidence adsorption GA molecules corroborated results.
