摘要: In this paper a typology of approaches to the governance science and technology is applied thirty years Swedish nuclear waste management. During these different kinds interaction between industry, government, municipalities, researchers, environmental groups citizens have been developed in order reach decisions on where finally store spent fuel. all this, one common theme can be identified: maintenance strong demarcation democracy. It shown that such an approach creates problems, while causing fragile interface experts other groups. An alternative deliberative governance, which means softening boundary democracy enabling simultaneous discussion technical political issues. history waste, processes never become strong. Instead they often constrained by approaches, as corporatist or agonistic governance. The concludes sustainable siting process, leading robust decisions, needs improved view public involvement decision processes, well better communication strengthen mutual process understanding.
