摘要: Electron energy band structure in polymers, particularly polyethylene, and electron injection, transport trapping are briefly reviewed. The interface model of polymer nanocomposites is then described, the Tanaka et al. Lewis formulations outlined context a mechanistic understanding. Detailed discussion several recent papers, presenting DC conductivity space charge data for seven different polymer/nanoparticle combinations, follows. main findings each combination summarized. It concluded that accumulation discussed do not specifically endorse nanodielectrics. Rather presented can be interpreted satisfactorily, though detail, using established models percolation theory. Finally, broad tentative guidelines tailoring properties presented.
