摘要: Cell-free extracts of Nitrosomonas eutropha oxidized ammonia to nitrite with NO2 (N2O4) as electron acceptor. The oxidation activity was shown be sensitive against oxygen. In the absence oxygen and were consumed in a ratio approximately 1:2 hydroxylamine occurred an intermediate. NO released amounts equimolar consumption NO2. After passing cell suspension through French pressure fractionating it by density gradient centrifugation using linear sucrose gradient, two soluble membrane fractions detectable. Highest measured highest fractions. KS values oxidizing system cell-free about 20 μm NH3 remained unchanged between pH 7.25 8.25.
