摘要: Novel strategies of antiinflammatory therapy are based upon pharmacological agents capable to enhance the resolution - i.e. termination beneficial inflammation before it may turn into an adverse chronic stage. In contrast current therapy, which antagonises formation proinflammatory mediators, "proresolving" promotes natural processes. It is likely that several drugs and phytochemicals would act in this way, but point has not been investigated thus might be totally overlooked. paper, effects curcumin (diferuloylmethane) were analysed, considering ability compound affect through modulation its important inputs activity apoptosis neutrophils. The presented data indicate that, besides well-known suppress mechanisms engaged at onset progression inflammation, could support decreased enhanced This substance oxidants neutrophils, both under vitro conditions after oral administration arthritic rats. Moreover, accelerated spontaneous as indicated by increased externalisation phosphatidylserine, intercalation propidium iodide executioner caspase-3.
