摘要: In 19 healthy volunteers, we used transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to probe the excitability in pathways linking left dorsal premotor cortex and right primary motor those during response delay reaction time period while subjects performed a delayed [symbol 1 (S1) - symbol 2 (S2)] Go-NoGo task with visual cues. Conditioning TMS pulses were applied or 8 ms before test pulse was given at 300 1800 after S1 150 S2. coded for right-hand left-hand movement, S2 release stopping prepared movement. of led interhemispheric inhibition post-S1, facilitation post-S2, shorter times move-left condition. post-S1 slower move-right conditions, conditions. Relative evoked potential amplitudes following conditioning post-S2 significantly smaller 'NoGo' than 'Go' trials instructions. We conclude that premotor/motor is context-dependent affects behaviour. Thus, engaged not only action selection but also withholding releasing preselected movement generated by cortex.
