摘要: In this paper, we discuss the role of an external magnetic field on dynamically generated fermion mass in even-flavor QED three space-time dimensions. Based some reasonable approximations, present analytic arguments fact that, for weak fields, magnetically induced increases quadratically with increasing field, while at strong fields one crosses over to a scaling logarithmically field. We also confirm type behavior through quenched lattice calculations using non-compact version gauge Both zero and finite temperature cases are examined. A preliminary study condensate presence flux tubes is included.
