摘要: Synthesis gas generated by the gasification of nitrogen-containing hydrocarbons will contain ammonia. This is a catalyst poison and elevated levels nitrogen oxides (NOX) be produced if synthesis combusted. paper presents study selective oxidation ammonia in reducing environments. The concept same as traditional catalytic reduction, where NOX are removed from flue reaction with injected over catalyst. Here, new for removal demonstrated experiments were carried out model consisting CO, CO2, H-2, N-2 NH3/NOX. performance two catalysts, V2O5/WO3/TiO2 H-mordenite, evaluated. On-site generation nitric acid decomposition was also investigated tested. results show good conversion under conditions studied both on-site NOX. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
