摘要: Abstract A new implementation of Humlicek's algorithm for approximating the Voigt profile function is proposed and compared with several other implementations respect to computational speed. On scalar computers this considerably faster than by more a factor 3.3 on average. However, vector computer acceleration between fully vectorized Schreier only 1.2 1.8, depending region x , y -space under consideration.
