摘要: We conducted a placebo-controlled, randomized, and double-blinded study to evaluate the efficacy of manidipine given orally in attenuating cardiovascular responses laryngoscopy tracheal intubation. Thirty normotensive patients (ASA physical status 1) undergoing elective surgery were allocated one three groups (n = 10 for each); placebo, 5 mg manidipine, groups. These tablets administered 3 h before induction anaesthesia. Anaesthesia was induced with thiopentone mg.kg-1 iv, intubation facilitated vecuronium 0.2 mg.kg-1. Laryngoscopy lasting 30 sec attempted 2 min after Patients receiving placebo showed significant increase systolic diastolic blood pressure associated increases following significantly reduced compared or (P < 0.05). Oral administration anaesthesia is simple effective method pressor response stressed that potential beneficial effect haemodynamic reaction might be obtained at expense hypotension later on.
