摘要: Purpose: The purpose of the research was to analysis tool performance between cryogenic treated and nontreated PVD inserts by milling process on Inconel 718 material in terms surface roughness wear. Design/methodology/approach: methodology adopted is with various cutting parameters like speed, feed rate constant depth cut. Cutting speeds are 20,30,40 m/min 0.05, 0.08 & 0.10 mm/ tooth cut 0.50 mm. Findings: From experimental work, results were encouraging analysed Cryogenic performed better than non inserts. Treated produced low at high speed rate. formed flank wear where as untreated more Chips saw chips. Research limitations/implications: There some limitations carrying out this work due machine vibration. a constraint measuring crater tool. Originality/value: This will help other researchers follow using treatment. can be used for difficult materials Titanium.
