摘要: Medial transfer of the tibial tuberosity has been commonly used for treatment recurrent dislocation patella and patellofemoral malalignment. In this study, six fresh human cadaveric knees were used. Static intrajoint loads recorded using Fuji Prescale pressure-sensitive film contact pressure area determination in a closed kinetic chain knee testing protocol. Peak pressures, average areas tibiofemoral joints calculated on native intact specimens after transfer. All had normal Q angle. Medialization significantly increased pressure. displacement also medial compartment changed balance joint loading. The results our study suggest that caution should be when transferring patellar tendon face preexisting angle as will result abnormally high peak within joint. Overmedialization avoided varus knee, meniscectomy, with degenerative arthritis compartment.
