摘要: The authors consider the channel estimation problem in context of a linear equaliser designed for frequency selective channel, which relies on minimum bit-error-ratio (MBER) optimisation framework. Previous literature has shown that MBER-based signal detection may outperform its minimum-mean-square-error (MMSE) counterpart performance sense. In this study, they develop framework by first discretising parameter space and then posing it as problem. Explicitly, MBER cost function (CF) is derived studied, when transmitting binary phase shift keying (BPSK) quadrature (QPSK) signals. It demonstrated based CF aided scheme capable outperforming existing MMSE, least square-based solutions.
