摘要: Temporal changes in the abundance of host-seeking, potential Japanese encephalitis (JE) vector mosquitos and role some ecological factors that are modulating were studied. Vector surveillance was conducted for one year 4 JE prone villages Dibrugarh, Assam. Among vectors, most abundant mosquito Culex vishnui s.s. comprising about 22.32%. Maximum density found during month April another peak observed September. The influence meteorological on vectors to vary from species species. final multiple regression equations (after variables selected using STEPWISE procedure) consisted a combination linear, quadratic, cubic interactive accounted 25-98% variations mosquitos. Complex interactions among environmental factors, such as minimum maximum temperature, rainfall flood level involved seasonal A time lag is before cause effect relationship established between parameters (independent variables) entomological (dependent variables). Inundation caused by flooding favorable mansonioid whereas it has an adverse non-mansonioid
